DEEPENING

EXPANDING REACH
FOR THE INSTITUTE
FOR HUMAN ECOLOGY
Institute for Human Ecology (IHE)
at The Catholic University of America
The Institute for Human Ecology (IHE) promotes a deeper understanding of the human person in society, an ambitious mission rooted in Catholic intellectual tradition. When IHE partnered with Tenuto, the goal wasn’t to reinvent the brand, but to elevate it visually, strategically, and across every touchpoint.
While IHE’s original branding predated Tenuto’s involvement, Tenuto has since become the creative and strategic lead for all communications and design. Our work has touched every corner of IHE’s presence and voice, allowing the brand to mature while remaining true to its origins.
We redesigned the IHE website to better reflect its academic credibility and dynamic mission. The updated design prioritizes clarity, ease of navigation, and visual hierarchy, while amplifying IHE’s core message through better content strategy and layout.
Tenuto took over all social media creative, providing branded content and visuals aligned with IHE’s tone and audience. This has led to stronger engagement and brand recognition across platforms.
IHE hosts numerous high-profile lectures and events. We design tailored promotional materials, from digital assets to printed programs for each event, ensuring they feel both distinct and unified within the IHE brand.
Each year, Tenuto produces IHE’s Annual Report. A piece that must convey both scholarly rigor and approachability. We balance clean typography, thoughtful imagery, and a narrative-driven structure to present IHE’s accomplishments and impact.
As the creative partner for IHE, Tenuto ensures consistency across every design asset and messaging platform. Whether
developing a new campaign or refining long-standing communications, we serve as stewards of the IHE brand.
